The Inauguration Ceremony of Urban and Regional Planning (URP) Building of Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (KUET) was held on 07 November 2018 at 12.00 PM. Begum Monnujan Sufian, Honorable Member of the Parliament of Bangladesh (Khulna-3) was present in the Inauguration Ceremony as the Chief Guest and Professor Dr. Quazi Sazzad Hossain, Honorable Vice-Chancellor of KUET, presided over the program. Dean of Faculty of Civil Engineering, Prof. Dr. Quazi Hamidul Bari; Dean of Faculty of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Prof. Dr. Mohiuddin Ahmad; Dean of Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Prof. Dr. Mihir Ranjan Halder; Head of URP Department, Prof. Dr. Md. Mustafa Saroar; Head of Architecture Department, Prof. Dr. Bayezid Ismail Choudhury; Chief Engineer A B M Mamunur Rashid, Additional Director (Planning & Development) and also the project Director of relevant project Engr. Md. Anisur Rahman Bhuiyan and delivered speech and Superintendent Engineer Dr. Md. Julfikar Hossain represented the event. Teachers, students, officers and staffs of KUET, politicians and invited guests were present in the occasion.
